Dental technology has evolved significantly in recent years. Thanks to these tools and technology, treating minor to serious illnesses has never been so simple. From 3D scanners to digital x-rays to cone beam CT.

Dr. Ronald Ayzin at Laguna Dental Center is dedicated to using the most recent, well-proven technology and methods to give our patients the highest standard of dental care. We use the latest dental technology in dentistry as well as patient scheduling technologies through sms text and online calendars.

Here are all of our technology.

3D Scanner

A 3D scanner is used to create a detailed and incredibly accurate image of the patient’s mouth. A 3D scanner covers every angle of the mouth, takes only 20-40 seconds, and produces little radiation.

At Laguna Dental Center, we use an iTero 3D scanner.

Which Whitening System is available at Laguna Dental Center?

Teeth can be whitened in a number of ways, including bleaching, utilizing whitening strips, gel, and zoom whitening. Zoom whitening is a teeth-whitening technique that patients are choosing nowadays since it is quicker and more effective than at-home whitening kits.

What innovative sleep apnea system is available at Laguna Dental Center?

The lack of adequate oxygen in your body may be caused by sleep apnea. Fortunately, sleep apnea can be treated with cutting-edge technologies like Mandibular Advancement Devices. This advanced technology is used in our practice to treat sleep apnea.

Mandibular Advancement Device

A Mandibular Advancement Device (MAD) is a specially constructed appliance worn in the mouth that is used to address breathing problems associated with sleep, such as snoring, TMJ issues, and obstructive sleep apnea. The device is most effective when used to significantly reduce snoring and sleep apnea. MAD typically lasts three years. The device has no age restrictions.

IntraOral Camera

Intraoral cameras are dental tools used to acquire a clear view of a patient’s teeth, gums, and mouth. The safety and portability of intraoral cameras enhance a patient’s comfort. We at Laguna Dental Center use an advanced intraoral camera to make our patients aware of their teeth’ condition and teach them how to take care of their oral health.

Digital X-Rays

The state of a patient’s teeth and gums can be precisely diagnosed using digital x-rays or dental imaging, which makes it simpler for our dentists to develop a suitable treatment plan. Thanks to their precise scans, digital x-rays can quickly rule out issues, saving patients’ time and money on pointless procedures. The ability to rapidly print and enlarge the images makes digital x-rays superior to conventional x-rays.

Lasers

We offer KaVo DIAGNOdent Diagnostic Dental Laser, DioDent Micro Soft Tissue Laser, and Biolase® Waterlase Hard Tissue Laser. See more about laser treatment.

CBCT

A medical imaging method called Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) uses divergent x-ray computed tomography to create a cone-shaped image.

Electronic Dental Records

An Electronic Dental Record (EDR) is a digital version of a patient’s dental health history, replacing traditional paper charts. EDRs contain clinical data, patient demographics, and administrative information, improving point-of-care access, decision support, and efficient management of dental practices. EDRs are integral to modern dental care, contributing to the overall health picture of the patient and promoting collaboration among dental professionals and medical providers. The widespread adoption of EDRs has led to increased efficiency, decreased administrative burden, and improved patient outcomes. However, challenges remain, such as the cost of implementing new technology, staff training, and interoperability concerns. Despite these hurdles, EDRs represent a crucial step towards a more connected and advanced dental care landscape.
