Pathway School is a Christian institution located in Laguna Hills, California that works to help every student reach their full potential. Children who attend Pathway School receive skills and techniques to support their unique academic, social, and spiritual growth, which helps them become resilient in a non-traditional learning environment. Bright, imaginative students in grades 3–8 with learning difficulties and distinctive learning styles are the target audience for the school. They use teaching strategies that are adapted to the demands of each individual student and offer a rigorous academic curriculum. Each student’s strengths and challenges are recognized, and learning plans are carefully created to match their requirements.
Academics
For students in grades 3 through 8, Pathway School offers a thorough educational program in a warm, small class setting. In order to determine each student’s level, the school’s curriculum is guided by periodic assessment and progress tracking. Multisensory, practical teachings and participatory investigation make up the school’s instruction. Students at Pathway School learn how to apply their knowledge in real-world situations and realize that working together is more effective than working alone. The school also provides a wide range of classes and groups all year long. The available courses are rotated every eight to ten weeks.
Student Council & Year Book Club
A committee of elected students from every class and the school’s officers make up the Student Council, which works to improve the school and ensure fun by organizing dress-up days (such as pajama day, crazy hat day, and sports day) and school-wide events. The school’s yearbook club, on the other hand, is created by the yearbook committee, which is made up of volunteers who are interested in photography and design and who collaborate with a staff adviser.
