National Honor Society

A select group of roughly 50 juniors and seniors make up the Laguna Hills High School National Honor Society. The three NHS pillars of Leadership, Academics, and Service are exemplified by NHS students, who are the best of the school. Candidates must attend a required information meeting in the spring semester where they will learn how to submit an application. Members will be chosen by a faculty committee with a majority vote, and candidates will be compared to the pool of existing applicants. Once a student has been chosen for NHS, it is anticipated that they will remain a member as long as they uphold the requirements for membership. Members of the LHHS National Honor Society who successfully complete their membership requirements will get a seal on their diploma and wear a stole designating them as Honor Society members at graduation. Numerous scholarship opportunities may also be advantageous to students.
